Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) Leviticus 23:33-36
“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD”. Leviticus 23:34

The Feast of Tabernacles is observed in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, also called Sukkot meaning booth, covering, hut or tent. It commemorates the remembrance of the forty years in the wilderness for Israel’s punishment for not believing YAH through the testimony of Caleb & Joshua.

The Book of Nehemiah (Neh. 8:14-18) is a good example of what believers should emulate. We are returning from captivity from a false religious system and do not know what the Law of YAH required concerning His Feasts. They heard the reading from the Law (Torah) in their ears and YAH gave them understanding and they hastened to perform it with gladness. They bought or gathered the things that the Law of Moses (Torah) required and they made themselves booths of the materials they gathered.
