The Feasts of the LORD are held in three months each year. The Spring Feasts which are Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Pentecost . the Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits are held in the first month of the year. The first month of the year according to Scripture is the month of ABIB (often spelled AVIV). The Feast of Pentecost is held in the third month of the year which is called Sivan. All of the remaining Feasts are called the Fall Feasts and are held in the seventh month of the year called Ethanim.
The Spring Feasts are traditionally seen as the fulfillment of the prophecies concerning Yahshua (Jesus) and the Fall Feasts generally consider the things to come such s the second coming of Yahshua and the trump of God signaling the rising of the dead in Messiah. We are to observe the Feasts as a memorial or rehearsal according to their definition.
